Forecasts, marine forecasts and warnings come from NOAA's National Weather Service; tides and water levels from NOAA's Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services; river levels and forecasts from NOAA's National Water Prediction Service. They are works of the United States government, in the public domain. They are shown as they come, and the app is not an official forecast or warning service: before you go out, check the National Weather Service.

Pictures

The aerial photographs Settings links to are from the USDA National Agriculture Imagery Program, served by the USGS National Map, in the public domain. The marina at dusk behind the sign-in page, and the icons throughout, were drawn for the app. A marina's own photos are its own.

Names and marks

The boat catalogue gives builders' published sizes for their models, and uses builders' names only to say whose boats they are.
